Academic Schedule and Calendar

Keystone College provides clear information regarding class schedules, program start dates, and institutional breaks to assist students in planning their studies.


Class Schedules

Class schedules may vary depending on the program. Students will receive their detailed timetable at the beginning of each term.

Typical class schedules may include:

Morning Schedule

  • 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Afternoon Schedule

  • 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Classes are generally scheduled Monday to Friday, depending on the program requirements.

Students should refer to their student services department for their specific class timetable.


Program Start Dates

Keystone College follows Multiple Intermittent Intake where program starts first Monday of the month for Post Baccalaureate/Graduate Programs and first Wednesday of the month for Undergraduate Programs.

Exact start dates for each program will be confirmed during the admissions process.


Scheduled Institutional Breaks

Keystone College observes scheduled institutional breaks and public holidays. During these periods, classes will not be held.

Typical holidays may include:

  • New Year’s Day

  • Family Day

  • Good Friday

  • Victoria Day

  • Canada Day

  • BC Day

  • Labour Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Remembrance Day

  • Christmas Day

The college also schedule academic breaks depending on the program calendar.

Students will be notified in advance of any scheduled breaks.


Changes to Schedule

While the college makes every effort to maintain the published schedule, class schedules or start dates may be adjusted when necessary. Students will be informed of any changes in advance.

Student Orientation

At Keystone College, we are committed to helping students begin their academic journey with confidence and success. All new students are encouraged to attend the Student Orientation, usually held a week before program start, that is designed to introduce students to the college environment, academic expectations, and the support services available throughout their studies.
