Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management
This program will prepare the students to manage complex projects. The Students will learn the skills needed to move a project through conceptualization, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing. The curriculum is designed in collaboration with industry and closely following the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines.
Program Organization
- Manage the scope, cost, timing, and quality of the project focused on project success as defined by project stakeholders.
- Align the project with the organization’s strategic plans and business justification throughout its lifecycle.
- Identify project goals, constraints, deliverables, performance criteria, control needs, and resource requirements in consultation with stakeholders.
- Implement project management knowledge, processes, lifecycle and the concepts, tools, and techniques to achieve project success.
- Manage communications to ensure the timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage and disposition of project information to aid in the achievement of project objectives.
- Utilize technology tools for communication, collaboration, information management, and decision support.
- Implement general business concepts, practices, and tools to facilitate project success.
- Apply project management practices to the launch of new programs, initiatives, products, services, and events relative to the needs of stakeholders.
- Develop creative and flexible solutions that bring projects in on time and within budget.
- Appraise the role of project management in organization change.
- Anticipate and respond to challenges inherent in complex projects.
