Vancouver Island Regional Library
Established in 1936, Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) is the fifth largest library system in British Columbia. The Courtenay Library Branch moved to its current downtown Courtenay location in 2001. The branch’s striking architecture has made it a popular downtown attraction.
